Withdraw Crypto from CoinByte
To withdraw any asset on CoinByte, you must first add and verify a withdrawal address, please refer to Add a crypto wallet address.
Make sure you're using the right network before sending or receiving crypto, please refer to Select a corrct network.
All new withdrawal addresses require 2FA verification, including:
- Email and SMS confirmation
- Google authenticator verification

- Always verify both the address and network before making any transfers.
- Crypto withdrawals cannot be canceled. Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be undone.
- Always verify that the address and selected network match your intended transfer. A mismatch could result in permanent loss of funds.
How to withdraw crypto from CoinByte?

- Select thesend icon on the Home screen.
- Select the Cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw (e.g.ETH).
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and select your preferred network.
- Select the address you wish to withdraw to, or tap +Add Address below to add a new one, and slide to send.
- If it is your first withdrawal of this crypto asset, you need to add a withdrawal address. Please read Add or remove a crypto withdrawal wallet address.
- Review your withdrawal details, then tap Confirm.
- Complete the verification, and a confirmation page will appear with your withdrawal details.

If you are transferring assets to your own account on another exchange, you will only need to provide the name of the receiving platform. This is required under Australian regulatory obligations.

- Select the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw.
- If it is your first withdrawal of this crypto asset, you need to add a withdrawal address. Please read Add or remove a crypto withdrawal wallet address.

- Country of residence
- Town or locality
- Review the fees and withdrawal amount.
- Select Confirm. You will need to do 2FA verification to finish the withdrawal.

Memo codes or Destination Tags
Transactions on some networks, such as Stellar (XLM), Cosmos (ATOM), and Ripple (XRP), will require additional information in the "Memo" field.
In a similar way to when you pay your rent or send funds to a bank account, the receiver requires a "reference code" to identify who the transaction is from. A message like the one shown will indicate if it is needed for your transaction.
Always ensure you include this information to avoid permanent loss of funds.
How long does crypto withdrawal take?
Crypto withdrawals are processed and initiated immediately but will remain in a pending status until one confirmation is recorded on the blockchain network.
The processing time may vary depending on:
- The asset being withdrawn
- Network congestion at the time of the transaction
Limits
💡 Limits include both cash and crypto transactions.
- Minimum withdrawal amounts differ depending on the asset and the chosen network. You can see minimum withdrawal amounts in each asset's withdrawal page .
- Daily maximum withdrawal: $50,000 AUD equivalent.
Restriction of withdrawal address
As a cryptocurrency trading platform, CoinByte faces unique compliance risks. We implement strict measures to protect our platform and users from scams and money laundering.
CoinByte supports external wallet withdrawals. However, in line with our Fraud Prevention and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policy, we prohibit crypto transfers to the following platforms or services:
- ❌ Online gambling sites
- ❌ Online pharmacies or medication stores
- ❌ Dark web marketplaces
- ❌ Fraudulent or illegally operating platforms (e.g., MTI.club, CashFX, Lionshare, YieldNodes)
These platforms may violate Australian law. Any withdrawals to such services are blocked by our system and may trigger restrictions on your account.
